About
Most companies know AI is reshaping their business. Most don't know where to start. And most of the firms offering to help stop at strategy decks and tool recommendations. fd.engineering exists to close that gap.
What we believe
AI is the most significant shift in business operations in a generation — but the companies that win won't be the ones with the biggest AI budgets. They'll be the ones that move first, stay focused, and build systems that compound over time.
The gap between a model that works in a demo and a model that works in production is human work. Senior, technical, customer-facing human work. That's the job we do, and it's the job most consultancies are structurally unable to do.
Strategy without execution is a deck. Execution without strategy is hours billed. We pair the two under one roof — and we'd rather do one engagement well than three engagements adequately.
Who's behind this
25+ years building production systems. Currently co-founder and CTO of Noumenal Labs, a Physical AI startup.
Earlier, Jason spent five years as a forward deployed engineer at Microsoft — embedded with enterprise customers, shipping spatial computing, world model, and real-time perception systems inside their environments. That work predates the term going mainstream; the FDE playbook fd.engineering runs is the one he's been running for years.
Based in Dallas-Fort Worth.
fd.engineering is where that experience meets the model now reshaping enterprise AI: senior engineers who embed with your team, ship working systems inside your environment, and transfer everything they know on the way out.
How we operate differently
Where we are
fd.engineering is headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and works with clients across the country. From early-stage startups shipping their first AI feature to global enterprises closing deployment gaps the labs can't fill — if you have a real AI build that needs to actually ship, we'd like to talk.
30 minutes. We'll ask what you're trying to build, what's in the way, and whether we're the right team. If we're not, we probably know who is.
